We are a Sámi family who live here in Kiruna, but more specifically Poikkijärvi, a small village outside of Kiruna. Poikkijärvi is located just across from the world famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi.

We have a son who is 2 years old and a dog who is 5 years old. In the winter, from mid December to April we increase our family with a couple of male reindeers who stay with us during the winter. The rest of the year they are roaming free in the Swedish and Norwegian mountains.

We started our journey with renting out a small cabin on our property but soon realised how fun we thought it was to work with people from all over the world, talking about our culture, our traditions, the reindeer and life in general above the arctic circle in the northernmost of Swedish Lapland.
